University can cause one to lose some of her passions in a blink of an eye. It’s a mix of being away from home, meeting and gaining new and different influences, and being unsure about the future.
Somehow, in the past year and a half, I’ve managed to put aside my love of singing, dancing, soccer, photography, swimming, and yes, even math.
But these can easily be restored.
So, February will be the month of re-finding the awesomeness in all these hobbies I know I’m already passionate about.
Why forget about the things that make us happy?
That being said, I should definitely mention that university has also given me the chance to discover new passions. For example, there’s nothing that makes me feel more alive than interviewing a complete stranger. I just love the feeling of learning new things and meeting new people.

I’m over it.
4 years.
Then I woke up this morning.
No more fears.
Of tragedies long past.
Things that happened but won’t last.
No more slowing down.
I know I’ve come around.
Focused now.
